Danéll was born and raised in the Western Cape of South Africa, where a love of wine is part of everyday life. Growing up in the renowned Cape Winelands and attending an all-girls boarding school in the region, she developed a deep appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship behind winemaking. 

 

After moving to Montana, she had the opportunity to turn that passion into a career. As the saying goes, you should follow what you love, and Danéll was fortunate to have found exactly that. She takes great pride in helping customers discover wines they truly enjoy and return to time and time again.

 

Danéll’s professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to quality and experience, from working with De Beers, one of the world’s most renowned diamond companies, to representing a leading wine distribution company in the United States. Both experiences have deepened her appreciation for craftsmanship and the joy of connecting people with something special. Wine, at its heart, is about bringing people together, and that’s something she values deeply. 

 

Choosing a favorite wine is nearly impossible; it’s like choosing a favorite child. It all depends on the moment. That said, she’s always drawn to a crisp, elegant Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc or a beautifully balanced Burgundian Pinot Noir.

 

Outside of work, Danéll spends her time with her husband of 15 years, their two daughters, and close friends and family. You’ll often find them outdoors, gardening, hosting a traditional South African braai, enjoying soft jazz, and preparing meals from scratch.
