SHANNON MERRICK
Sales Helena, Great Falls, Butte
Shannon was born and raised in Northville, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. She has a degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University.

Although Helena is a new city for Shannon, Montana has been her place of residence since 2003. She moved to work in Glacier National Park, fell in love with mountains and rivers, and has called Montana home ever since.
​
Shannon has always enjoyed being a consumer of wine, but her true love blossomed when she visited the vineyards of Sonoma County, CA and Walla Walla WA. She has been in the service industry for 18+ years, both serving and bartending, and loves curating and cultivating wine lists with character and chutzpah. In October 2016, she passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Level 1 Exam.

Shannon’s favorite wines are Sangiovese’s (Super Tuscan), dry Rieslings from Germany and Alsace, and wines of Chablis. In her spare time, Shannon likes to golf, hike, run, read, raft, and listen to podcasts. She has traveled extensively through SE Asia and Central America, and Shannon’s love of wine is calling her to continue to explore wine countries all around the world.
